PlaySchool

Evan started daycare aka Playschool on Monday.
He watches a show called Caillou where the star of the show goes to 'Playschool'. We have been telling Ev that he was going to start playschool like Caillou and on Monday when we woke him up to get dressed we told him we were getting ready to go and he came up to me (20 minutes before time to leave the house) and said 'Mommy, lets go!' and I asked you want to leave now? 'Uh Huh' he replied...so we left early. Momma and daddy both went to drop Evan off to his first day. On the way there Evan chanted 'Playschool, Playschool'.

The drop off went pretty smooth. Momma called for 2 reports that went as follows:

7am-9am free playtime went great
9am-9:45am lots of crying during structured class setting
11:30am didn't eat lunch
12:00-12:30pm crying because didn't want to nap
12:30pm finally napped
1:00pm Scheduled 'officer friendly' program came, Evan tried to get carried by all the adults, the SWAT team passed on him, so did a firefighter, a Policeman picked him up and then Evan wiped his nose on him! He then wiped his nose on a teacher's dress.
2:00pm Grandma Judi picked Evan up early during snack time.

Todays' report (day 2) went much better, less crying, better a naptime, lunch was devoured. 9am seems to be the problem spot, when the kids are brought together for the beginning of class time in a structured setting....makes Evan crabby. He will get it, just all new things all at once...I think he is doing great.

When we got home on Tuesday, daddy had homework to do and Evan decided to keep quiet (HAHA) and play with Razzie while daddy concentrated in the next room over...I don't think daddy got much done.
