Islands of Adventure

Yesterday daddy & mommy took Evan to a special special place with dinosaurs & Dr. Seuss.

We attempted to visit Hogwart's the Harry Potter attraction, but is just opened the weekend prior so it was beyond crowded and it was more annoying than exciting because of all of the people.

Evan met the Cat & the Hat and rode the ride, it whipped us around pretty fast so I am not sure how crazy he was about it but he did not cry out in fear so it could have been worse.

Evan was very excited to go on this train ride that goes up above the park and despite his fearful face here we hadn't started yet...it is just a bad pic he was clapping and whoo hooing the entire ride even putting his arms in the air as if he was going faster than 1 mph.

Evan is all boy, he loves trains, planes, cars, sharks and dinosaurs. He was very excited to go 'dinosaur hunting' with us. Here we found a T-Rex!

Here is Ev with Spiderman, the pic looks funny because the store that was selling 4 x 6 pics for $23 had a genius idea, they have a reflector on the background so it makes mommy's FREE pics turn out black...this is as good as Photoshop could do to fix it...they weren't getting me to pay that money for 1 small pic!!!

Since we entered the park Ev wanted to ride the Pteradon ride, we used it as behavior enforcement. It was the last ride we rode and it was a 1 hour wait for a 90 second ride. Evan was IN LOVE with this ride. He was JUST tall enough to ride the ride (it was 36 in height requirement and Evan is 37 in), the line was filled with much older children. I was very scared he would try to hop out once we got up high or went to fast but he held on and was quiet the entire 90 seconds of flying with the pterodactyl. He wanted to ride it again as soon as we got off. We probably went 30 mph in some spots and were about 100 yds in the sky. I was impressed with my brave man.

Here is the up close shot of us riding.

Evan was tuckered out at the end of the day.

Party animal pterodactyl riding crazy man.
