Rain & Flowers

Evan recently found my umbrella and has been wanting to play with it badly....I told him when it rains we can go play outside with the umbrella...well it finally rained in the morning and Evan wanted to go out in his pajamas. I am a mommy of my word so here is my silly boy in his pj's singing in the rain.

Evan has spent a lot of time this spring planting, watering, and helping weed out the flowerbeds. He has a little shovel and toddler weeding gloves. We have recently seen the fruits of of labor and it is very exciting for both of us.

Evan has watered the peach tree every other day after school, he is very happy to see fruit growing but will not eat them once they are ripe...go figure.

Evan likes to smell these Queen mums and then swat them with a stick...not crazy about the stick part.

You have a peach tree? I am soooo jealous. Down at our house in Ormond Beach, we have orange, lime, tangerine, and grapefruit trees plus a blueberry bush, but I really really really want a peach tree. You planted this yourself? How long ago and how many peaches do you get? Sorry for so many questions, e-mail me! Your back yard looks great sans the skateboard thingymabob!

Nancy- Yes we go the peach tree from lowes and we only planted it maybe 2 months ago and have fruit! We bought a tree that was about 6 feet tall and had blossoms on it.
